Keaco’s JEDEC compliant 3 spot humidity indicator cards are the industry standard for use when dry packing components. The inexpensive humidity indicator cards are inserted along with ARIDPAK™ desiccants prior to vacuum packaging SMD Reels, IC trays or shipping tubes loaded with components inside ARIDPAK™ moisture barrier bags.

JEDEC-Compliant 3-Spot Humidity Indicator Card

A moisture-sensitive card printed with three indicator spots that change color from blue to pink when a given relative humidity threshold is exceeded, verified by JEDEC-compliant color meter testing. This version is Cobalt Dichloride-free, meeting European Chemical Bureau (ECB) REACH directive requirements.

How to Read

Place the card in the environment to be monitored and wait about 1 hour (timing depends on RH%). Each spot changes from blue (dry) to pink (wet) once its indicated RH% is exceeded.

Precautions

  • Keep in a dry, sheltered area above 0°C
  • Store together with original packaging
  • Read immediately after removal from the moisture barrier bag
  • Don’t touch indicating spots — skin contact can reduce accuracy
  • Avoid chemical exposure and high-RH exposure before use
  • Avoid direct metal contact
